Photographic Exhibition - More than forty up-close images
of mammals, insects, birds and corals taken by Queensland Museum's
nature photographers, Gary Cranitch and Jeff Wright. Held at the

Challenge Exhibition - Challenge quilts made by members of
Queensland Quilters. The theme is "25" to celebrate their 25th

Live
Life Villages Art Prize - The annual art prize for
painting and sculpture is open to all. There is also a junior
competition for 13 to 18 year olds. Funds raised will go to the
Alzheimer's Association Queensland and Sunnybank/Salisbury Meals on
Wheels Inc. Entry is $5. 10.00am to 3.00pm at Brookland Village

- Visitors are invited to play traditional games such as Chinese
checkers, marbles, knuckles, draughts, hopscotch and croquet in the
exhibition that explores the history of play, including games,

American Impressionism and Realism: A Landmark Exhibition from the
Met - Featuring more than 70 impressionist and realist
paintings from The Metropolitan’s collection of American paintings
and sculpture. The exhibit also includes a collection of how
Australian artists responded to key artistic developments of the
time. More than 30 Australian paintings will be hung alongside the
American artworks. Open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to
5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 5.00pm at the
