on the life of Ken Jackson, a Queensland Museum ethnologist and soldier
who collected in countries he served in during WW2 until he was killed
in action in 1943. With guest speakers, anthropologist Michael Quinnell
and historian Jeff Hopkins-Weise. 12.30pm to 1.15pm at the Queensland

Careers Expo - Presented by The Commonwealth Department of

seekers looking to secure employment and long-term career opportunities
with the chance to connect with Queensland employers and career

Light the Night
- At twilight, friends, families and co-workers will take part in a walk to
raise funds for patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas,
myeloma and related blood disorders. The event aims to remember, celebrate
and bring hope to support Australians with blood cancers. Participants of
Light the Night carry illuminated balloons to represent their journey.
