• 8 November (Saturday) 2008 - Spinal Injuries Association Gala Fundraising Dinner - Raising money and awareness for the Spinal Injuries Association, which assists people with paraplegia or quadriplegia in attaining independence. Entertainment includes soul singer Lisa Hunt and performances from Wheelchair Dancesport. Tickets $145. 7:00pm to 11:30pm at the Mecure Hotel, Brisbane. • 17 October to 8 November 2008 - Kiss of Death - Play about an actress who attends an unusual improvisation workshop and finds herself auditioning to be bait for a real-life serial killer.
