• 4 November (Wednesday) 2009 - Queensland Connections 2009 - Summer Getaways - A free talk on favourite summer spots of the North Coast from the late 1800s. With guest speakers Peter Osborne and Sean O’Keeffe of the Cultural Heritage Branch of the Environmental Protection Agency. 12.30pm to 1.15pm at the Queensland Museum, Cnr of Grey and Melbourne Sts, South Bank. • 7 November (Saturday) 2009 - Night Cafe - A dance production with a film noir sub-plot presented by Dancenorth. Tickets are $34 for adults and $32 for seniors. 7.30pm at the Redland Performing Arts Centre, Cleveland. For tickets contact the box office on 3829 8131 or book online through RPAC.
   
• 9 to 15 November 2009 - National Recycling Week - Planet Ark are encouraging Australians to Recycle Right, to help save water, conserve resources and combat climate change.

• 13 to 15 November 2009 - Hands-On Expo - 10.00am to 5.00pm at the RNA Showgrounds, Gregory Tce, Bowen Hills.
   
• 14 & 15 November 2009 - 12th Historic Noosa Hill Climb - Featuring a number of different makes and models of cars. Parking will be available at the Tewantin Sports Ground with a shuttle bus to both the Sunrise Rd entrance and the Pit area. As the event is held within a National Park we ask you leave the dogs at home and no smoking. Gyndier Drive, Tewantin.
   
• 15 November (Sunday) 2009 - YogaAid Challenge 2009
   
• 16 November (Monday) 2009 - International Day of Tolerance
   
• 25 November (Wednesday) 2009 - White Ribbon Day - The United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
   
• 28 & 29 November 2009 - Santa Celebration - Activities include a jumping castle, a train simulator, art and craft, a screening of the Polar Express and more. There will also be a visit from Santa. Activities are free after general museum entry. The Workshops Rail Museum, North St, North Ipswich.
   
• 29 November (Sunday) 2009 - Thank You Day - Say thank you to the health and medical researchers who dedicate their lives to saving ours.
   
• 29 November to 13 December 2009 - Christmas at The Workshops - Art and craft, dress-ups, Santa letter writing and more. Activities are free after general museum entry.
