ALL SAINTS' ANGLICAN CHURCH is the oldest
Anglican Church in the city (50 years older than St John's
Cathedral).
It contains the oldest stained glass in
Queensland as well as other significant art works, such as
the first public work of the acclaimed Brisbane sculptor,
Daphne Mayo (the 14 Stations of the Cross).
It is heritage listed, and
has, in fact, played a significant part in the growth of the
City of Brisbane.
All Saints is open throughout
the day on weekdays as a place of prayer, reflection and
beauty for the WHOLE community.
The photo, right, from their website contrasts
the stone church with the modern Metway building.
