Clayfield, Brisbane
6.5 km north-east of the Brisbane CBD, Clayfield is a prestige suburb
with a number of restored Queenslander-style homes and modern luxury
townhouses. The majority of the suburb is quiet and leafy, despite being
close to major transportation routes and hubs.
While there is some strip shopping on the busy Sandgate Road that cuts
through Clayfield, most shopping is in nearby suburbs: Centro Toombul is
the closest major shopping centre with large department stores, Lutwyche shopping centre and Chermside
Shopping Centre.
Clayfield is accessed by rail via Eagle Junction station.
