Bridgeman Downs is an upmarket suburb on the north-side of Brisbane, established in the late eighties and early nineties, approximately 13km from the CBD. The busy Beckett Road runs from the Rode Road roundabout and McDowall and cuts through Bridgeman Downs to cross Albany Creek Road at Albany Creek. On the eastern boundary are Aspley and Carseldine.
Homes in Bridgeman Downs range from palatial homes and executive homes on reasonably sized blocks closer to the city to acreage homes and newer estates on the northern end of Bridgeman Downs near Bald Hills. The area is broken up by parkland and bushland along Cabbage Tree Creek and Albany Creek. There are also several churches, retirement homes and Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery.
Local shopping is on Beckett Road with larger shopping centres nearby
at Albany Creek and Aspley.
